Hello and welcome back,
Ok, so you can forget the myth of Blue Monday. It’s time to celebrate, Plan B is over and we might be wondering - was there ever a Plan A? There is definitely no connection between recent revelations of privilege mixed with the “nobody told me” way of responsibility as some might think.
Another reason to celebrate is, hold tight, the existence of Patriotic Millionaires. Yes you read it right. They exist and they are going to do what millionaires do best - save the world from poverty. Because who will billionaires listen to if not millionaires? Jokes aside, it’s about time the rich figure out how they’ll… pay taxes like everyone else. Because this one small step can change things more than any non-transparent mega philanthropy.
Recent Oxfam report brought few interesting details to light - if 10 richest men spent a million dollars each a day, it would take them 414 years to spent their combined wealth and if they sat on top of it piled it up in the form of US 1 dollars bills, they would reach almost halfway to the moon 🌖 These guys love to fly to space high.
Meanwhile in another world which is slowly losing its path, Olympic athletes “face punishment” if they do not follow the Olympic spirit and decide to join the protests during the games in Beijing. This is a perfect example why it is so important to Kill the Bill over here. Right to protest is the key to democracy and an obstacle for kleptocrats. It is crucial we don’t allow anyone to change that. Otherwise it could lead to extremes like the recent Safeguard Defenders report on “voluntary returns” policy.
On the lighter note, good news for many, bad news for anti-vax movement - two third of common side effects after covid jab can be attributed to a negative version of placebo poetically called Nocebo. We better don’t believe someone who can’t see the difference between work meeting and party 🙃. Keep your mask with you, get your booster and listen to Netil Radio
Thank you for reading and stay connected

Coming Up
✧ Next Saturday 29th of January, SODAA will take over our airwaves from 11am till 11pm ✧
SODAA - A Self Organised, Decentralised Association of Artists, musicians, DJs, producers, coders, songwriters, promoters and partygoers gathering in London, and worldwide via Discord server, to imagine a new model for a community-operated music venue in London, run with collective decision-making and funded with a membership-based mechanism.
SODAA’s main aim is to tackle the issue of a lack of space in the UK capital to provide for a truly inventive and experimental underground music culture, one which does not sideline minorities or scenes in favour of profit, and in doing so create a replicable model that can be transferred to cities across the world. Don’t miss!
