Netil Radio Weekly
Happy Spring 🌱 and welcome back,
The sunny moments after the spring equinox this week make sense. The tentative rays of light bring smiles to our faces, brightening up the gloomy-looking reality, allowing us to close our eyes and absorb the sun’s goodness. Feels great…
The plants (and gardeners) outside the studio have been waiting for this moment with an excitement comparable to the PM's as he attempts to embody Churchill’s reincarnation. This will explain his last attempt to “level up” taxpayers money after he fights for the “alternative” freedom of Brexit, supported by Hitler’s reincarnation from Russia. Science fiction comedy is the new reality and it’s losing its humour very quickly. While the world is watching a war fueled by hate via the hyper-reality of social media, in the background, the same social media is changing their policy, allowing violent allegations towards specific groups of people. George Orwell is turning in his grave more than ever, not least whenever some “conservative” politician or kleptocrat says his name.
With MP’s not being able to survive the crisis without a second job these days, we’re gonna need a serious heatwave to absorb enough energy to fight back. At Netil radio studios we’re hoping for one, and are dreaming up our plans for the Summer. We are planning to bring back regular radio meetups and day-long takeovers by labels and promoters. These will take place on the last two or three days of every month until October, starting with the second SODAA Stream on the 30th April, followed by our 5th birthday 3-day party on the 29th-31st of May. It's been way too long since all the DJs hung out together and there are so many new DJs who’ve never met radio matadors. Our little garden is just begging for friends to be hanging around, listening to music, socialising, discovering and nurturing each other’s talents.
Thank you for reading and stay connected
