Words
Hello and welcome back,
Looks like there was plenty of fun last week in Glasgow. Bin collectors and street cleaners prepared great scenes for a populist reality check, which was only topped by the organiser's failure to be any kind of example - Most of the speakers arrived on private jets, and apparently someone’s private jet was, if not bigger, more ecological 🧐
Leo ran away from journalists, Jeff Bezos was talking about views from space, he never been to. We also learned that three minutes is actually ten+ minutes if you're the American president or French PM. Greta had some words for all the leaders, and Boris really said that it’s “one minute to midnight” even though we all know it’s already half past. And - after I saw No Time To Die ending, I was left confused about what he meant by saying that we should be like James Bond 🤔
Thank the universe, winter is here. Temperatures dropped last week, giving me hope for some snow this year. It’s been a while since I made a snowman and he survived for more than just a few hours. The specificity of snow in London is that literally everything stops. And that is what we all need right now, even if your perspective might be different after all the lockdowns / no-lockdowns. Imagine the dreamy scenery, a soft walk through streets, cozy atmosphere everywhere while you’re listening to Netil Radio...
